I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Denver, CO) in Apr 2013
Interview
I filled out an application online then called the store a few days later to see if I'd be able to schedule an interview. The HR Supervisor was very friendly and scheduled me for an interview the next day. I went in, she asked me the standard interview questions (previous job experience, tell me about yourself, etc.) then told me what the starting pay would be, the hours I'd be working, so on and so forth. I was instructed to take a drug test and submit consent for a background check and that was that. The process took longer than average because I was not not notified right away (my own fault, phone problems) when my background and drug tests came back clear but despite that, it was quick. I came back to the store the day after I spoke to her and started orientation/training.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no difficult questions, they were pretty basic and predictable.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Home Depot
Interview
It took a few months from when I originally applied to be contacted for an interview. However, once I was, everything was quite quick (as it was summer and the busiest time). I had two interviews with he HR associate, and on the second, he handed me the orientation booklet. A long wait for contact, but very quick interview process.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2009
Interview
Process was inital interview with two senior brokers who asked questions about my work previously with international trade.
Went onto management of the department and quickly offered salary. Time was of concern for immediate start date and HR asked if it was enough. I did not even question at the time before beginning the position in the new department.

Question 1
There were no difficult questions, however, after the start of my employment I realize why I was needed and the difficulty facing the corporation at the time.
