Called in by the HR manager and interviewed by the store manager then by a department manager. Was asked to talk about a problem I encountered and how I fixed it, also given a customer scenario/role play type question.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Dec 2012
Interview
Applied online. Received an email the next day saying they would call me. The call lasted around 10 minutes and asked me 3 basic customer service questions, then I was scheduled a face to face interview. I waited about 30-40 mins because the manager was helping with a customer. The interview was short and he was very nice. The manager asked me about 4 questions and wrote them down on a booklet of some sort. He said they were making decisions by Friday but wouldn't be surprised if I received a call before that. Sure enough the next day they offered me the job. Went in signed for a background check and got directions to the drug testing clinic.
