I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot in May 2010
Interview
The interview was very structured and scripted. Your answers are rated based on certain types of answers they are looking for, and whoever scores the highest receives the job offer. The flaw I find with this interview style is it really has nothing to do with whether or not you are the best qualified for the job, but how well you can answer questions.

Question 1
Describe a time when you were able to meet a deadline, even though you were unsure of whether or not you would be able to.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in May 2010
Interview
The interview process thus far has been very positive. Initially, I completed a one-on-one interview and took three, written, multiple choice tests. I was then contacted to interview with a regional operations manager and an Asset Protection Manager. Interviews have been very relevant to the position and all persons I encountered have been very professional. The process is not complete at this time.

Question 1
Describe how you handled a loss prevention encounter as an associate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jun 2008
Interview
2nd Interview: The interviewer seemed as though he didn't want to talk with me. It seemed as though he wanted to have the conversation so he could check a box. I've had classmates with little or no experience who've gotten jobs at this company. It's definitely "good ole boy".
