I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Niles, IL) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was a robot on the other end. They email you indicating you will get a call but if you like, you can call back at the number. Too binary and no chance for human nuances. They tell you what the pay is an you have to accept it or not.
Basically if hired you finish with training classes on the computer at the job, training is over safety tips and how to approach a customer the right way and ask if they need help.

In store 1:1 interview
It was all online up to the 1:1 in store interview. Very user friendly. I thought it was an excellent interview platform for both the recruiter and the potential candidate. You can get your best qualities across and at the same time discriminitory practices are eliminated.
