I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Brighton, MI) in Jun 2013
Interview
First they emailed me to let me know a phone interview was going to be done. I missed the call so they sent me an email with a phone number and id number to complete the phone interview. After the phone interview, the interviewer told me about the exact position they wanted me for, which wasn't exactly what I applied for, but it was close. She then gave me an interview day and time to go interview at the actual store I applied to.
The questions on the phone and at the store were similar. Mostly questions like "tell me something you did at a previous job/school that helped you do X". Very simple interviews. No tough questions.
They then told me they would call me later in the week for a second interview. They didn't call me for about two weeks and I found other employment during that time so I didn't go in for the second interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing too difficult. "How would you make sure you safely used equipment to complete a task?"
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Oct 2010
Interview
verry good comunication, the thing is that i whent to the intervew and the manager was been trayned by another manager, and they kind of trated me as a practice intervew, and it was kind of uncomftable to hear them talk to each other just right outside the door about the intervew and about me,
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Franklin, WI) in Feb 2011
Interview
Responded to a job post online, submitted my application and recieved a call a few days later. Responded to call and took an initial interview over the phone with a corporate office, questions mostly general work history type things. Was then told that it would be up to the store to call me for an interview. A week or so later I was called to interview, and next day saw who would be my supervisor. Asked mostly general questions, about experiences, why I wanted the job, etc. Never recieved call back.
