I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Aug 2015
Interview
I got a call telling me when to come in for my interview. I arrived early and other employees came up and wished me luck. Everyone was very friendly. The interview questions were a couple of the ones posted on their site, nothing I hadn't reviewed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if you knew you wouldn't have time to finish a task before your shift ended.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied about 2 months before and then I had received a phone interview which eventually led to a in person interview at the store. Then I had received an offer at $10.00 an hour, then I was given a drug screening then I began work the following week.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
They asked how would you react to a customer that wanted a particular item that your store didn't have?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2015
Interview
Wasn't too long or tedious, basic interview questions I suppose, scenario questions that addressed your values, what would you do if you saw a coworker stealing etc which situations would you report to your supervisor or handle yourself, etc etc, basic stuff that are essentially common sense. The questions were very scripted which seemed to be marked on a scale of 5, no questions specific to me persay were asked. After the initial interview I had one more that same day with the hiring manager then I started the following week.
