I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) in Sep 2017
Interview
Applied through a student portal and was emailed shortly about an interview. I interviewed with three people, two who were in management positions and one person that I was replacing. The interview was very conversational and friendly.

They asked about my resume and how each specific entry related to the job at hand.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University
Interview
The phone call and in person interviews with division leaders were great, but the entire process took months due to a slow Human Resources dept. From final interview to first day was three and a half months!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University in Jul 2023
Interview
The process took about a month. I applied online and participated in two interviews via Zoom, each lasting about an hour. After that, I never heard back. Not even a courtesy email.
After being scheduled for an interview, I did attend it and it lasted for an hour. My experience was average. But what I can not understand and cannot stand is the ghosting after that. I must have sent two follow up emails but nobody ever answered. I understand people being busy but it takes respect and consideration to simply respond and give an update ( positive or negative). But just give an update and treat people with respect!
