I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Johns Hopkins University in Sep 2022
Interview
Interview process took several weeks, incredibly in depth that included 3 interviews. It was a difficult process but understandably so with the schools reputation. Interviewer didn't email back about the outcome until prompted and then ghosted after saying I did not get the job

Interview
The process took over a month involving a panel presentation, just to be ghosted without even receiving a rejection.
My experience left me quite perplexed due to the reputation that Johns Hopkins University/Medicine holds. I had two interviews. The second interview required a presentation on a project that was based on a prompt we were given. All the feedback I received was positive. I was told I'd hear back the following week. At this point it's been almost 3 weeks since the last interview and despite sending 2 emails to the Director that I interviewed with on both occasions and 1 email to the project manager out of concern, there was no response or communication. It baffles me how such a prestigious school and organization can be so blatantly unprofessional. It takes little time to send a rejection email and really comes down to common courtesy. Maybe that's just how corporations are doing business these days, but I have to say I didn't expect this from JHU and am quite disappointed. I think I speak for many when I say that, we'd rather receive a rejection than be ghosted.
