Interview questions [1]
Question 1
“Imagine a client wants to modernize their legacy system but has a tight budget and strict deadlines. How would you approach this challenge, and what trade-offs would you consider?”
“Tell us about a time you had to influence a team without direct authority. How did you navigate the situation, and what was the outcome?”
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interview process was long and tedious. They asked for customer prospect lists several times. “If we hired you, who would be your first call”. Also asked questions about industry penetration and wanted to know which industries I would target. They were simply mining for customer information so they could go after them. If they do this with 10 candidates they end up with a nice list to go after. Very unscrupulous!
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh) in Jul 2022
Interview
First round is HR phone screening to ask about experience.
2nd round is Pairing, where you pair with interviewer to implement a small features.
Technical round includes system design and past experience.
Culture fit is not too hard.
