I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UPS (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2015
Interview
Expecting a interview but was just given a tour of the facility and what to expect from the job. Despite being part time, they still make you work five days a week, four hours a day. Pay was also very low for UPS. Only $10.10 an hour to start. Thats UNACCEPTABLE for such a degrading and physically job. I can get paid more standing around practically doing nothing as a bank teller. It's sad to see a company like UPS which generates over 50 billion in revenue pays their workers so low, while the benefits are excellent, I rather have more pay. After the tour they offered people to set up interviews. I decided to decline. I was looking for a few days a week, not five days a week because I already work full time and was hoping to make just some extra cash during the holidays. and pay was way to low for it to be worth it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Your expected to handle anywhere between 1000-2000 packages a shift. Very faced paced and physically demanding job. Pay was to low for it be worth it. Raise the wage I would of considered it. There are companies who pay cashiers more than $10.10 an hour and they stand around practically doing nothing half the time.

Interview
Waited in a room for an hour after my interview time. Was never given any instruction on why 10 people were in the room just waiting. It was a hour wait for a 5 minute interview. they asked me 5 questions and that was it.

Applied and got a interview on spot. The application was very simple and easy. Gets to the point, and then gives you a date for an interview. Great process! Seems like a great company.
