I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Daytona Beach, FL) in Aug 2013
Interview
I filled out online application and had driver and ups store references. I got a call the next day to come in for an interview the next day. I showed up for interview where there were more candidates for the job. We were called in one at a time to interview and waited for all of us to finish. Some were sent home right away while others came back in and said they got the job and started doing powerpoint presentation training. I was asked if I wanted to start the next day and I did start next day. For the first few weeks a manager shadowed me and helped train me.

Interview
5 days, telephone then in person, hired by email next day, it was very easy and strait forward a basic people person interview just smile, be genuine and nice they will hire you. UPS was a great employer just not a ton of room to move up the food chain.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (New Stanton, PA) in Oct 2012
Interview
Group interviews and hirings .its not at all personal. you will be with anywhere from 5 to 25 other people . They treat you like 5 year olds the whole time . You sit through a talk about how hard the job is and basically as long as you can work the hours they want you to , then you are hired. After I was hired the manager also took a picture of all of us and hung them up on his wall , too . That was weird .
