I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at UPS (Manchester, NH) in Apr 2015
Interview
After applying online at ups.com, I received a phone interview. After that I was asked to come in for a second interview, and stayed for a third interview with the senior manager. They were polite and said they would get back to me. I was called 2 days later and offered the job.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Harrisburg, PA) in Aug 2012
Interview
The interview process is incredibly simple and easy. If you have no criminal record and are marginally competent in face to face interviews you will be hired. You will meet with someone for HR and be asked some basic interview questions. Answer honestly. You need to be able to move up to 70 pounds, which is not as heavy as it sounds. However, if you don't think you can handle that much weight then don't apply because it is an extremely labor intensive position. After the interview you will get a call back in a few days if you get hired and start the job. There is a 5 day training period. After working for 1 year you are eligible for benefits like health care, personal days and vacation.

If you see someone stealing what would you do? If there is someone that you don't get along with how would you handle that? Would you have any problems moving at 70lb package.

Interview
Basically, for this, they literally hire anyone with a pulse and a clean criminal record due to extremely high turnover rate. You apply online (the only requirements to successfully apply are that you meet the minimum job qualifications in their mini-questionnaire) and which will then give you the location and time of the one-on-one interview (usually a mass group setting of 50 or more applicants at a time).
