The last interview I had was pretty easy, but getting to that point was difficult. I had been employed in two other centers before. I transferred to the second one from the first and applied for a supervisor position in the transit. I did the required tests then, and overall that took roughly a month. After a year in the new supervisor position, I already began looking to transfer to a new location for college. However process was messed up, and I lost my chance to apply at the new location since someone else was hired. I had to quit for school, and weeks after I had moved, I heard about another opening and applied again. After a few phone conversations, I had a personal interview again. It was really frustrating to have gone two months without employment there and lose all of my seniority only to get rehired, but I am really grateful for this job because it is really helping me meet my short-term and long-term goals. I think the fact I was formerly employed by them and had org culture and safety knowledge helped, but applying in late autumn right before peak certainly helped too. They want ALL the help they can get at Christmas!
