I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2009
Interview
I applied online. I then received an email to set up a time for an interview. The interview was at the Seattle Hub. There were about 16 of us. A HR representative gave an overview of the position and answered any questions. There was then a one on one interview, that consisted of asking basic questions like are you a felon.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (Ontario, CA) in Nov 2007
Interview
Persistence was key. The interview consisted of questions regarding previous employment, your strong/weak points, etc. The only reason I got the job so fast was the fact that I kept contacting the hiring manager about my application, then I spoke to him in person and he hired me on the spot. Prove to them that you want the job, more than likely, they will give you a shot.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (Raleigh, NC) in Nov 2009
Interview
A group of 20 people showed up at the UPS Employment Office, copies of our drivers licenses and other proof of identification were made and we filled out a form verifying our name, address and available work days. We were taken outside and the Driver Helper job responsibilities were covered with the entire group. We then went back inside and were interviewed individually in the order that we had arrived. We were told a background check would be performed and then we would be contacted to set up our orientation dates.
