I applied online. I interviewed at UPS (Horsham, PA) in Nov 2009
Interview
This was very simple, you basically submit an application (can do it on site if you prefer) and then you go in for an interview. Almost every one gets hired because they have such a high turn over rate anyway. As long as you show up and look professional you are ok.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS in Jan 2012
Interview
Submitted application online. Received a call from the H.R. department. Group of about 8 or 9 people were called in. H.R. explained what the job entailed, then we were interviewed one by one. Asked if I could drive stick, if I had a criminal record, and if I had had any driving infractions. I said, no. I took a road test in an old 1989 p800 with no power steering. It was kind of like a DMV test. I passed. I was sent to take a DOT physical and a background check.
Then I was sent to a one week training course.
