I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (Elizabeth, NJ) in Aug 2012
Interview
They first invite you to a tour. Once you get there you watch a video(from the 90s) starring UPS workers explaining how difficult the job is. From there you take a tour( 90- 120 minute) of the job site. Afterwards, you schedule an 1 on 1 interview where you are offered the job. Training is the first 4 days (paid) and on that final Friday, you work.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at UPS (Baldwin Park, CA) in Oct 2010
Interview
the interview process consisted of 20-25 canidates in one sitting. they hire 4 at a time each individual is of different race. asked questions about safety ..proper lifting mechanics. To be honest it was pretty easy.
I applied online and an interview was automatically scheduled. At the "interview" they just tell you basic job requirements and make you go somewhere to get drug tested. The place that you go to sends them the results and then they call you up and tell you where to start orientation at.
