Take the ASVAB doesn't matter what you score in what category, they put you where they want. Must meet the minimum requirements at the time taking. Try and sign up for a specific job with the recruiter, it may delay the process but it is much better waiting a month to get in than doing a job you hate for 4 years.

Talk to a recruiter. They are the ones to see and have more knowledge. From what I remember they really ask basic questions. Drug use, criminal background, education. As long as you answer truthfully, you should be good. When I came in marijuana use was a big deal. While it is still illegal, I doubt the fact that it was used would be a huge red flag.

There is no interview process unless it is a high visibility position. Most positions are filled based on performance reports. Reports are submitted by the supervisore every 6 months for the first 2 years and then annually.
