Not hard at all. You might want to give up but you just keep going until you cant go anymore. Once you get to the end you feel this great sense of accomplishment
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at US Air Force (Grand Island, NE)
Interview
The interview process...is more of a "let's sign you up" without promising you anything. When I enlisted over 20 years ago...there weren't many promises...but I did get to pick my job based upon my ASVAB scores. There's not so much an interview as there is a bunch of questions asking about who you are, etc.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at US Air Force (Newport News, VA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Random questions from hiring authority. There is no set standard for interviewing. In fact, the hiring authority can choose to just pick a candidate from a list of applicants who.made it through the automated part of the process. The good part is when you are the hiring authority you will have complete discretion on how to handle it.
