Qualified candidates have no problems getting in. It is a long process involving MEPS, testing, and physical examinations. Keep in mind while testing that this score will determine a great deal about your future. Take is seriously.

Interview
Lengthy process--takes several months to a year. You meet with an Air Force nurse recruiter and he/she will have you fill out a ton of paperwork. When you finally get to the interview, it will be with the Chief Nurse of a med group at a local base. Once the decision is made, you get signed up for Officer Training School and go from there. Do not expect to be paid during training. You may get back pay once you get to your permanent base.

Interview
The recruiter gives you a list of options for which career field you want. After you sign up with the recruiter, you may have to wait before going in. (Delayed Entry Program) You go to MEPS, and they process you in with the swearing in, and the medical checks. From there you go to basic training, then to technical training.
