Found a recruiter, we talked about options and what would be best for me but more importantly what would be best for the Air Force. After we discussed what my aspirations were we took a look at what the Air Force could for me and that's when I found that I could reserve the career choice that I wanted. After I took my ASVAB and scored well enough for the career I desired, he reserved the job and told me the date that I was set to leave for Basic Training. A lot of paperwork was in order, contract agreements, terms and such. Physical examination at MEPS took place prior to them shipping me off to Basic Training. It's quite thorough, from typical physical examinations to depth perceptions.
After all was said and done, off I went, into the wild blue yonder.
