Movement to specialized jobs can require individual intervies with the divisions to be moved to. A review of the last 3-5 years of records (annual reviews) is standard, as is contact with existing leadership. In some cases a phone interview is conducted, but most commonly it is a 1:1 interview. Since member is already employed by the Air Force, the interview is similar to a internal promotion process.
