I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at US Navy (Oakland, CA)
Interview
Go to the station and tell them you want to enlist. You'll have to take the ASVAB test to see what jobs you qualify for. Take your time and do your best.
Process involves getting a four year college degree, and getting accepted into the aviation program. Acceptance is based on performance in college. Choice of major does not matter, don't let ROTC or Academy pressure you into a major that you'll hate. The first F-18 pilot I met was an agricultural major, not engineering.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at US Navy
Interview
Received an interview after a quick resume review at a job fair. I was asked about past experiences and projects, but not very much pertaining to my field of study.
