This gives your recruiter an idea of how well you'll do on the actual ASVAB and what kind of rates you should look into before going to MEPS to pick your rating or job in the Navy. After that is completed they'll schedule a time for you to go to MEPS. Usually the process takes only a day or two but it can take up to week or more in some cases, just depends on the situation.
