US Navy interview questions

Very friendly, typical interview questions about your skills and experience that would normally be found in any interview books out there. However, they seem to stress more on your interest in working for the company than your experience. Partly because I was told that you will be trained later for the job offered.

Interview Day at NUWC, Newport RI. They invited & flew entire group of people up (mostly student computer scientists, electrical engineers, marine engineers) and we all stayed at one hotel. Nobody knew what specific jobs they were interviewing for until the morning of the interview, when each person was handed a folder with their schedule. The jobs on my schedule did not match my interests. If a phone interview had been done beforehand, I would have declined the invitation to visit. However, they were prompt in paying me for the travel expenses I occurred. I received an email a few weeks after interview day saying I was not selected for any of the jobs I interviewed for.
