A series of short tasks to prove capability for the role, working from a provided computer in a quiet area, then a small panel interview with three members of staff to discuss suitability and history.

It's hard to remember the questions, but there were queries about previous experience and it's applicability to the role.

Interview
It takes around 45minutes on Zoom/Skype. Started from several (~9) technical problems related to ML, maths and coding. Followed by past research project presentation. Slides were required. Interviewer discuss technical details and asked about possible extension/drawback of the work.

Interview
Straightforward process, only 1 round. A few basic but essential questions about programming language (Java), plus an whiteboard interview to demonstrate the most difficult challenge ever faced. Got the offer a few days later.
