Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic competency and field related technical questions
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, East of England, England) in Jul 2016
Interview
The interview was with the research team but an HR member was also present in the room. The whole research team seemed very unenthusiastic and cold. I'm very good with people and I found it incredibly uncomfortable in there. No difficult questions, just standard "Tell us what relevant experience you have", "What do you know about XXXXXX?" etc. They honestly seemed to have no interest in my answers. Easy questions, difficult people. After half an hour of questions, I went to the lab to demonstrate I can use a Gilson. Safe to say I didn't get the job.
I applied online. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Catania) in Apr 2017
Interview
Nothing special,
they did not ask any question, any certificate, we make the selection by email, I never went to meet any person. We just talk by email, they send me a couple of links about a training I should make it. then I made it, we fix an appointment and I was "hired" for the training day.
