Had a call with the hiring manager who only seemed interested in why I was leaving my previous job and not what I have been working on or my skillset. At the end of the call I didn't seem like that was a good impression and decided not to pursue.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at VMware (Atlanta, GA) in May 2023
Interview
Applied on Monday for a job that was just posted. Contacted by recruiter on Tuesday and set up Zoom interview with recruiter for Wednesday. I thought the screening interview went well; however, I received two rejection emails 4 hours after the interview. One rejection was automated, the other was from the recruiter. Obviously, I was not what they were seeking. But the process was extremely efficient.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Sofia, ) in Dec 2019
Interview
The application process included 3 stages - phone interview by a recruiter, on-site interview with the direct manager and another last interview with the immediate team. The interview with the direct manager on-site was about sharing the vision and business model of the company, some questions regarding my previous experience and my approach to given tasks. I was also given a quick task to edit a write-up given by engineers in a way that is suitable for external readers. The team interview was a bit harder as there were several people in the room asking different hard questions about personal behaviour and approach to problems or urgent asks.
