I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Rickmansworth, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
it was pretty tough... individual interview asking normal questions about customer facing etc... and some knowledge of what Waitrose does and the partnership set up was expected... there was also an online questionnaire before that to do but that was pretty simple... you don't need to prep for it.. and there was a group exercise that was pretty tough I thought... you were given a number of tricky scenarios to think about and then in pairs or small groups present your answers. Was mainly about priorities but some of it was about how you might display special offers in the shop etc... considering all I was going for was a shelf filler it was pretty difficult. But you can't really prepare for it - you just have to make sure you speak up with some helpful responses.
