Interview
I applied online. I filled out an application with my own details, including education and employment history. Then I was asked to complete a Situational Judgement test. Once I had passed that, I was invited to a group interview for the following week. This turned out to actually be a 1:1 interview, which lasted about 20-30 minutes. I was told it would take up to 2 weeks to receive the news on whether I was accepted (they tell you either way, which is nice) but I received a call later in the day telling me I was successful.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in Nov 2017
Interview
I arrived at the store and was taken to a room with about five others applying for the same position. We took part in a group assessment which was really good as everyone was very friendly and it helped me feel more comfortable in the situation. We were all given an imaginary worker and we had to allocate them to different jobs within the store. We then all had one on one interview which weren't high pressure at all and it was overall a good first interview experience.

Interview
I had to answer a pretty long questionnaire on the website. Questions were about how you would react to different situations. They I was asked to the interview stage (complete tasks as a group while the managers took notes, then a brief individual interview).
