I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waitrose (Solihull, England) in May 2016
Interview
Brief explanation about the company and the role.
Individual assessment task which involved looking at a list of products and matching them to a variety of customers' requirements, e.g. being health conscious, vegetarian, etc. I had to write down the products I would recommend.
Then, a group task where we all had to discuss what we would prioritise based on a day's work at a store, where various problems occurred e.g. missing stock, breakages on shop floor, unhappy customers, etc.
Finally, a one to one interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Mill Hill, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Pretty straight forward. I had a 1 on 1 interview which had standard question followed up my a group interview where our problem-solving skills were put to the test with others. Very friendly atmosphere and interviewers were very helpful.
First group interview. Talk about yourself and what you are doing. Then they give you a scenario and how you would deal with it. I also had to do a group activity which involved cut up piece of paper and had to piece it together. Like a puzzle game. Thats all i can remeber. If sucessfull then you would be invited for final interview which the question i have listed below. Thats pretty much it.
