I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waitrose (Harrow) in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview was made up of two parts. The first part was done within a group alongside the other applicants, by where you were given scenarios familiar to Waitrose and told to work together to solve the problem. The second half was a standard one on one interview by where they would ask you questions regarding your online application, your previous experience and how you would benefit Waitrose.
Was called into a group interview, then had a one-on-one chat the same day. Was called back a couple months later once there were vacancies near me and offered a job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They gave us each a booklet of people with different lifestyles, and different meals that waitrose sold. You had to answer individually which meals you would recommend to which people and why. Be confident and speak up. The one-on-one interview was typical questions asking me about myself and why i wanted to work there and what i could bring to the table.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Waitrose (London, England) in Oct 2009
Interview
I applied online for the role, and was very impressed by the whole procedure as every stage of communication was updated via the website... So I knew once my application had been received, and whether I was still in the running for an interview.
The interview was incredibly straight forward, a simpler 1:1 concerning previous employment, what I could bring to the store, my hours of availability and what I knew about the company.
