I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Mesa, AZ) in May 2014
Interview
Easy simple quick asked a few questions for about 15 minutes then we were done. The process itself did not take too long. But everything was pretty simple, we just went to a room in the back and talked for 15 then in about 2 weeks they called me back I started to work a week later.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Anaheim, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Easy/Average. The store manager at the time was pretty easy going and gave me a chance to get some work experience. It's been ten years, so memory of the interviewing process is a little fuzzy. Average amount of questions. I learned how to manage a register.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Riverview, FL) in Jul 2015
Interview
I applied online and then went to a location to complete the rest of the application in the back of the store. Before completing the second portion of the application in store, they informed me that hiring was on freeze right now because a local store had just shut down and they were relocating employees. I still went through and completed the application anyways. About a month later I received a phone call asking when I could come in for an interview. I showed up for my interview and the manager who would be conducting my interview was not at work. I was then sent home and had to come back the next day, which was very unprofessional on their part. The next day my interview went pretty well but I did not have enough hours available to work as I am a full-time college student.
