Question 1
When was a time at a previous job that you had to compromise for a customer?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens in Jul 2018
Interview
Initially I was hopeful about this position. I am currently going to school finishing my bachelors degree in business management and I was looking for a part time job while I transition into graduate school. I was interviewed for this position and it went well both the managers that interviewed me were very nice people. However over the next couple weeks I did not hear from them and had found something else then they called back. I decided to drop my other opportunity and take the job at Walgreens because of the convenience. I figured it would be smooth because all I needed was a simple drug test and I had just passed one for the previous job and had worries as I don’t do drugs. So then not only is there a mis communication in scheduling for it but when i am able to take it they go silent I have no reply for a week. I then call to get an up date on what day I am starting the manager just says you failed your drug test I can’t hire you wow I say! so I figure I’ll check in with the testing lab as I want to know details. Finally after logging on to the labs website to get the results it tells me there was never a test ran and there is no record of any testing under my social security number. So i go to the Walgreens web portal to check the status of my application and despite being told I was denied it still said under offer. So at this point I am just going to withdraw my application. There are many other jobs out there and it definitely wouldn’t be a good omen to start out like this. I figure it’s a blessing not to be hired by an organization that cannot manage something as simple as hiring someone. so I wouldn’t recommend this job it was a waste of my time.
