I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Houston, TX) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online to several locations and they require to go in person to those specific locations to do the second assessment. the day after I applied, I went to two locations, and was able to get to talk to the hiring manager for the second location. The interview was kept short, around 10 min. The hiring manager went through my resume quickly and also asked questions in reference to previous employment. Then he went through the my basic job functions as an associate. He hired me on the spot, though, he was an assistant manager so he had me talk with the store manager for a bit to get his approval.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
interview took less than an hour after I walked in. Interview was very early in the morning during rush hour, however the manager was very nice. Briefly went over what my job requirements would be, typical managerial talk. Then talked about what kind of person I was and if I would fit this job.
