Interview
Very simple. You go into the office and sit down across from whoever is available to interview you. Usually it's a shift lead or an assistant manager. The interview goes by pretty quickly because they're basically talking to some random person instead of working out there on the floor or in the stockroom.
The next interview is usually with the store manager himself/herself. That second interview is basically a sign that you have the job as the manager will get to know you a little in a more casual way and explain basic things like how customer service is important.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2015
Interview
Interviewing was a very simple process. I first completed an online questionnaire, and then was called by the store manager to complete an in-store evaluation. When I went in to complete the evaluation, I was never asked any typical interview questions. In fact, the manager just made some small talk with me, I am guessing to see if I was a normal person. The evaluation itself was on a computer and took about 15 minutes. The questions were extremely simple, and the most complex asked about giving correct change in different scenarios. The manager was able to see my results immediately, and upon seeing them he scheduled a mandatory drug testing to be taken within the subsequent 48 hours.
