I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Montgomery, AL) in May 2010
Interview
Was called in for an interview, general interview questions regarding previous experience and why you would be a good fit for the position. Came back in about a week later for orientation. Spent about three days doing training modules on the computer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do in the case of an unruly customer who yelled and threatened?
The interviewer wanted to interview at Panera Bread during Lunchtime. While interviewing, he was reading written questions and then looking around the dining room, ignoring me, slow to respond to questions. This is a horrible company to work for. I have a professional degree and was treated like someone at a fast food service restaurant. They talk about caring and wellness but do nothing to assist the professionals in their takecare health/walgreens clinic in processing patients. If you try to transfer, it can be up to a year before that goes thru and only if you stay on top of it. Managers could care less about individuals. Managers lie, fabricate the truth to avoid responsibility.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Walgreens (Mesa, AZ) in Dec 2012
Interview
Submitted online application and was contacted via email for an interview. Questions were as expected for a general interview and much of the time was spent discussing the direction of the company and all of the opportunities one would be presented with.
