I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens
Interview
I filled out an application online for any open position. Later I received a phone call from a Manager at Walgreens who wanted to set up an interview. I went to the interview in a maxi skirt and dress shirt. I was first told to take a skill test at a computer. It sort of hurt my brain a little because it was more like an IQ test than a personality test. It basically involved making change, matching up UPC codes to item lists and things around that nature. From what I could see your results just gives the Manager an idea of where you'd best fit in. My results matched up with several positions, but they were looking for a pharmacy technician.
Once I was done with the test, I went inside an office and talked to a Manager. It was very light hearted and not a lot of major questions. The manager herself was extremely nice and I felt I clicked with her well. She asked me a few questions about availability and then she offered me a job as a pharmacy technician. The starting pay she quoted was ten cents more than my last job paid me an hour after several raises, so I took the job.
