I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walgreens
Interview
The interview was very simple. I went to the Walgreens and took a quick assessment and afterwards the manager said she would call me if I was offered the job. I got a call three days later and was offered the job.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Jacksonville, FL) in Nov 2012
Interview
It was pretty short and simple. Just asked some basic questions about experience and other basic interview questions, Then they had me do a skills questionaire on one of their computers. I was asked that day if I would be willing to go get drug tested and then I was hired a few days later.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Walgreens (Walnut Creek, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
Interview was quick and efficient, before the interview you are required to take an assessment test, depending on those scores they will hire you. After they received the test scores I had a one on one interview with the store manager. While speaking with him I saw my assessment test scores (which they don't usually show you) and it said "Highly Recommend". I smiled a lot which the manager commented on as being a good front-register quality. As long as you're comfortable talking and listening then the interview is rather simple. I believe I was contacted the next day and offered the job.
