Walgreens Sales Associate interview questions

Went to the cashier and asked for the manager who came after 30 mins. I was told to wait by him and then I asked for work. I was told there is a mandatory drug test after which I'll ve given a schedule. All in all very informal process. Showed to work the next week.

First off, they didnt seam to know what they were doing at the east Bremerton location. The woman who interviewed me looked at me with a blank stare and asked me if I had a previous interview at that location. I told her no it was my first. The interview process itself was ok, although the list of questions they ask about previous jobs and/or situations the interviewee has been in I just don't care for. I think it work much better to give hypothetical situations and ask what we would do at the moment... anyway I was told "if they were hiring" I got the position, but that they weren't so would I like her to set up an interview at the silverdale location if that was a convenient location for employment for me?! I mean come on! How did they call me to schedule an interview and supply the interview without knowing they were not hiring?! Then I had 2 interviews at the silverdale location and got the job but (always a but) the drug test showed narcotics in my system, which I had a doctors note and prescription for as I had an injury, so they could not hire me!! The woman I had the 2 interviews and hiring phone call with actually cut me off, while I was mid sentence explaining my proof, and said "it doesn't matter what circumstances etc.. we can't hire you." This supposed place of business is screwed up if you ask me!!
