I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Oct 2014
Interview
I received a phone call from a recruiter asking me to come in for an interview and have dinner. They had gotten my resume from the campus career center so it was an out-of-the-blue surprise for me.
Dinner was at a nice place and was very informational. The next Day I came to the interview and my interviewers were the ones sitting across from me during dinner.
Overall fairly relaxed interview. Typical why us questions and such. Asked the difference between a For and a While loop. What is a switch case, which is faster between a switch case and a series of if-else statements.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Jan 2010
Interview
Met a recruiter and he passed my resume on to management. They called me and we set up a video interview. It was very technical in the first interview. The second interview was on site in Bentonville and was more about how I would fit with Walmart's culture.

Question 1
The questions during the first interview were very technical so study up on your terms! That first interview acts as a screening so they select just a few to come on site for a second.
