Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Round 1 was online coding. It was not a regular competitive programming. I was asked to write a code in Java 8 to make an API call to given URL, fetch the response, process the response and then expose a method that will give results based on the fetched data and query passed. Problem itself was pretty easy but the challenge was to quickly search the libraries in Hackerrank that supports making a network call and deserialise it to a DTO.
Second round was on LLD. It was mostly related to the projects that I have worked on and few relations to the job profile I applied for. Nothing fancy in this round.
Third round was more detailed. Interviewer was pretty experienced and knowledgeable and knew what she was asking. Questions were more around general SDLC process, code safety and security, how to handle attacks and vulnerability, etc. Interviewer was open and accepted the answers that were unorthodox and new.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wells Fargo (Bengaluru) in Mar 2023
