How would you deal with emotion as part of the cabin crew
There were four levels on the assessment day. The first being getting into groups and explaining the situation happening in whatever photo we were given; each depicting a different action or situation on board. There were 4 questions behind each photo; one for each member of the group. The problem with this concept was that some people got technical-looking situations and others got simple customer service situations. This meant that some were easier to answer than others. We were then asked to go up to the front as a group to introduce ourselves and explain our customer service experience, before each answering our question. As mentioned previously, only one recruiter was present for this, who was taking notes and may have missed a few of the candidates' speeches. The recruiter also had no cabin crew experience which was odd as usually in cabin crew recruitment teams there is always one or two cabin crew present who know what the lifestyle really is like.
