I applied through an employee referral The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GlobalLogic (Gurgaon ) in sep 2021 Interview Cleared 3 rounds of interview , process took more than 1 month , had a salary neg. round , received the salary annexure , HR refused to offer the letter. I applied for the position of l1 supportin GlobalLogic for the Gurgaon location. The very same day I got a call from the company's HR where he took a verbal assessment on my experience, skills, current CTC, expected CTC and notice period that was 90 days in my current organization. Note that we were in the very initial phase of our conversation and if the HR had any confusion about my details he would have told me about his expectation and we would have parted our ways there and then. After the assessment, a technical interview round was scheduled for the next day. It was a very good session and the interviewee was very helpful .The interview went for an hour approx. and I cleared it with a good score. She too asked me about my notice period in the company. I was moved to the next round of interview which was after 2 days of this interview. It was the second technical round. Here too, the person taking the interview was very helpful and he provided me very useful insights on a few of the questions on which I was little confused with my answers. At last, I was asked about my notice period and was told that I will be moved to the next round of interview which will be a manager's round. Then after 3 days, a manager round was conducted. It was a short 15 minutes round and we both had a good talk regarding my notice period in the current company, salary expectations, expectations and his expectations as the manager. Round went well and I was told my application would be forwarded to HR for further actions. At this point of time I was pretty sure that I had managed to clear all the rounds of interviews and I was pretty much excited to join the big league. The same day the HR sent me an email asking for my documents. They asked for some highly confidential docs like my salary slips of the last 3 months and hike letters. I provided all my documents the same day and waited for the offer letter to arrive. 15 days into submitting the documents, I didn’t receive the offer letter. I emailed them about any update for the same but my emails were left un-replied. My calls and emails were totally ignored by the HR, to the point I started to think I am "bothering" them with my emails. They were neither accepting or declining my application. At this moment, I was pretty much sure I would not get any offer letter from the company. It was very heart- wrecking for my parents but still they were expecting for a company's call or an offer letter, as they do not understand how this hiring process works in such big "MNCs”. I too was unaware what exactly went wrong from my side, in the whole process. Then again I started with my studies and started appearing for the interview. After a few days , (20 days from the document submission) I got a call from the HR manager of the company for the salary negotiation round. She assessed me again by asking all those repetitive questions about my notice period, current salary, expected salary and what not. Then she sent an annexure in the email where the complete salary breakup was written. I accepted the offer on call and she told me to expect the offer letter by next morning. She promised me to send the offer letter and mentioned how the company never does stop anyone's offer letter at this point. Everyone's hope went high again but I still was not sure whether anything good will happen. Again, 2 days passed but there was no update regarding the offer letter. I messaged the HR's number regarding any update but as expected she never replied. It was in the morning of 30Sep2021 I finally decided to call her directly and ask about the letter. It was after approx. 1 month of the hiring process and at the very final stage of the hiring, she informed me that my application went on hold because client close the position if they open position will let u kw
