I was being interviewed for a recruiting position and I was asked to conduct a mock interview, take notes on the scoring and key takeaways from interview recordings, and provide feedback and insights on the company mission, vison, values as well as watching a recording of a company leadership team meeting. These were all a great way to assess my interviewing skills, ability to properly discern top talent, and also to see if I was able to resonate with the overall company culture and values. I also was given a safe space to speak about my personal hardships and I felt like once i received the job offer, I was not just getting an offer for an interview facade version of me, but rather, I was truly being chosen and invested in, for being ME, my wholistic, authentic self!
