They use the STAR method. I personally think it's way to formulaic to really give a candidate the opportunity to express who they really are, instead they are way too worried about "answering" the questions "right". I am not really sure it helps them hire the best, just someone really great at interviewing.
Why do you want to work for Cox? Where do you see yourself in five years? Why did you leave your last job? Why should we hire you?
Tell me of a time where there was a policy you did not agree with, and how did you adjust it.
Describe a goal that you've met? Why Cox? tell me a time when the rules changed and you weren't in agreement with? Tell me a skill of yours? The questions are easy to answer but when thinking of the STAR format it just threw me completely off with my answers.
Imagine if you had a television that is not working. Tell me the steps that you took to fix it.
