Pros

Very good pay for cashiers and hourly workers. Benefits are great and also provided to part-time workers.

Cons

No opportunity for advancement in most areas. District Managers are hired from outside the company with little to no experience as opposed to being promoted from within the stores. No bonuses for Assistant Managers, only for GM and DM.

Pros

Great Benefits. Great hours for being retail.

Cons

Hardly get 40 hours a week. Never get a pay raise. They do not communicate well when an assistant is motivated to move up and get own store. I was told after 12-15 months if you peform well then you should have yoru own store, well that did not happen and they never really would communicate to me about my concerns for advancement.
