Pros

- Progressional Path Available - (Internal/External promotion mix from Store Assistant to Store Manager) - Industry Leading Salary (Their pay is only rivalled (currently) by Lidl. They pay well) - Responsibilities that extend to all KPI's and Store Standards: You own your store results alongside the SM - A challenging environment that has a natural affinity for producing a feeling of achievement by overcoming significant time sensitive issues on a continual basis: It feels good to exceed what you thought was never possible by culturing team ethic and high personal performance

Cons

- Productivity based business model: Essentially, you will always feel like you never have enough time, and from that you will quickly learn that you can only economise the time you do have to achieve the best case scenario results - Working Hours: Although your hours will be reimbursed if you work over your contract; expect to work 50+ hours a week with no working pattern e.g. it is very much business dependant what shift patterns you work, so peak periods will require typically sporadic 10+ hour shifts - Store staffing structure is not departmentalised: Even the Store Manager will at times work on the till to meet/exceed productivity targets - even with phenomenal 'time management skills' it always remains a daily challenge to achieve all that is necessary and expected
