Pros

Cheap products, they pay is nice, its good to work for a company that cares about the enviroment.

Cons

If you have ever shopped at Aldi, you know the products are cheap. But did you know the company is the same with their employees? Im a part time employee because I can not work weekends, but I can work monday-friday. I ended up working through the week day, everyday, and they still considered be "part time" though I worked 40+ hours a week. They didnt want to call me fulltime because they didnt want to give me the fulltime benefits since I couldnt work weekends. Not only that, but corporate doesnt seem to care about their associate at all. Just the managers. Oh, and alot of the managers are on a serious power trip. Thinking they can speak to customers and employees rudley and talk down to them with any repercussion. It seems like no matter how fast you are, you are never fast enough. You are timed when checking people out, you get a daily report, so keep that in mind. You are not only a cashier but you do everything from cleaning, boxing, stocking, changing ads, etc. Which can be done but that will exlain why you see the employee sitting while ringing...cause its their only "breather" until break (if you get one). Customers are rude and guess what corperate doesnt care who or what they complain about, they are always right. Even if its a lie, they get a 25$ coupon and a kiss on the butt, later to continue harassing the aldi employees and calling to complain.
