      Pros

      Most Secure Company for Employee in Private Sector. No work pressure on its employee. People work together to achieve the target. Employee has freedom to express its Views, if its reasonable then it will be accepted by Management, and if not, a solid reason will be given behind that. Management believe in Back - Up Plan of employee. An employee can get the Leave whenever they require it. Alstom follow all Govt regulation regarding its employees. Alstom keeps special attention, related to Health of their workers. Believe in Sustainable Development with its own Growth. Safety measures are very high, for everyone who ever related with any kind of work with Alstom. Customer also Treated like a GOD and get high quality Material, with after services satisfaction.

      Cons

      Following every rules and regulation set up by Govt, must be followed, hence sometime Work get delayed because of this.

      Pros

      A company that is gloably present and gives the opportunity to travel if you wish to. Good colleague, and atmosphere. A good team spirit overall.

      Cons

      Lots of politics, which causes power to spread unequally: this prevents good decisions from being taken. Centralised power in Paris, where all decisions seems to be taken, with no or little understanding of what is really happening on sites. Too much useless reporting, which causes inefficiency.

      Pros

      Salary is above average in this area for experienced engineers. Benefits are above average: 4% 401(k) match, 3 weeks vacation on entry, additional company non-elective contribution to your 401(k) beyond the matching funds, willing to pay for education, flex-time.

      Cons

      Engineering and manufacturing is like two different companies with a great lack of cooperation between the two. In fact, there are regularly efforts put forth to cultivate conflict. Raises are rarely above 2% but very few other employers in the private sector are doing any better.
