Pros

Family oriented business; very good people who really cared about the organization and development of the people within. Very good atmosphere to work in. Employees were very pro-active and very engaged. I enjoyed my time there, it was like my family; and I still have very good friends there working.

Cons

Objectives from executive management were not in line with the plant or organizational objectives. This often caused ambiguity in how to operate efficiently.

Pros

The organisation in India is growing with the growing needs in Rail transportation. Alstom India won 10 railway projects in the last 1 year including the 3 billion Euro contract with Indian railways (e loco). This winning spree of multiple projects is a big advantage to anyone who would like to contribute to the "Make in India" initiative... The organisation is very young and vibrant.

Cons

Work pressure is high thanks to the growth phase. Policies are age old but likely to get a revision. Brand communication continues to be very poor. Poor diversity in top management. (Improving)
